We booked our honeymoon, and couldn't be more excited!
After the wedding, we get to sleep in late, have brunch with our families and then we'll be jumping on our Trans-Atlantic flight to Rome! We leave Sunday evening and arrive Monday morning. From the airport in Rome, we make our way to Civitavecchia, which is the port city, and embark on our 12 day cruise of the Mediterannean!
We see places like (in no particular order):
Barcelona, Spain has the Gothic Quarter as well as a museum dedicated to Picasso
Cannes, France which is insanely close to Monaco, where they have the Grand Prix
Livorno, Italy so we can visit Florence and Pisa
Naples, Italy which boasts the beautiful Amalfi Coast, Sorrento and Pompeii
Venice, Italy which obviously has it's famous waterways as well as St. Marks Square
Dubrovnik, Croatia is a beautiful cliffside city with gorgeous beaches
Messina (Sicily), Italy is home to Mt. Etna as well as the location for The Godfather
Civitavecchia (Rome), Italy is home to the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain, The Vatican and St. Peter's Square
After disembarking from the cruise, Rob and I leave Rome for Paris, we have a one night stop-over before returning home!
We're both so very excited about our honeymoon! It will be the trip of a lifetime, one we'll never forget!
